How did you meet this horse?
I bought him through a friend as a young horse in Iceland

Can you describe the character of this horse?
Very willing, friendly, a true Gæðingar

How long have you had Knár?
Since he was 5 years old, so six years.

What is the most memorable moment together?
Every trip with him is memorable, but our performance for the Queen in The Hague was very special!

How is Knár as a riding horse? 
Knár is the ultimate riding horse. He is willing, will do anything for you and doesn’t seem to get tired.

What is the highest score of the horse?
A 10 for personality and his quality as a riding horse, 6.2 in F2 finals, 6.23 in a tölt test and 5.8 in Pp1 pace test.

What makes this horse so special?
Knár is so versatile, he can do anything. Dressage, showjumping, cross country/eventing, agility, 5-gait tests, pace test, tölt tests, walking through busy traffic, perform at big events, everything really.

Being your friend, your riding horse

Why is it time for you to part?
I love to educate young horses, train them into perfect riding horses. Knár is that now, so it’s time for him to find a rider appreciative of his qualities.
