Kvistur has been shown in FIZO breeding with a total of 8,05. Kvistur is a very big horse, with a height of 148cm on the withers! So he would also be suitable for bigger riders, with long legs.

How did you meet this horse?
I met Kvistur at Kronholt, Nils-Christian Larsen, when I was searching for a horse with the perfect character combined with amazing gaits. I immediately fell in love with his impressive look!

Can you describe the character of this horse?
Kvistur is the sweetest stallion around, he loves to cuddle. He is very easy to handle, you can walk him to his paddock without a halter. He is a very calm and gentle horse.

How long have you had Kvistur?
I’ve owned Kvistur since winter 2018.

What is the most memorable moment together?
Being asked to join the Dutch Youngrider team for World Toelt Odense 2019 together. My very first time riding V1, it didn’t go as planned, but Kvistur had been awesome in the training all month and we learned so much that weekend.

How is Kvistur as a riding horse?
He has a very soft tölt with nice movements up to a good speed. His trot is beautiful and very roomy!
His walk is relaxed with long steps and he has a good canter with suspension on both sides. He is well educated and knows most of the dressage exercises. He likes positivity and encouragement and actually does give that extra bit if you talk to him and tell him how awesome he is.

What is the highest score of the horse?
6.53 in V1 and 6.50 in T2. But both with his former rider, due to an unfortunate injury we missed the rest of the 2019 season, and the 2020 season didn’t happen because of covid. We did not have a lot of opportunities to compete together.

What makes this horse so special?
Kvistur is very sweet and patient, he is a real teacher and a great horse to learn from on the track.

What is Kvistur best at?
Tölt and cuddling! He has an amazing tölt and in the stable he is everybody’s best friend!

Why is it time for you to part?
I have learned a lot from Kvistur, but I’ve decided I prefer to focus on my fivegaiters for competitions.
I am studying and currently have a lot of horses, my mother (who owns him) stopped riding completely and due to those reasons Kvistur is not getting the attention he deserves.
Because of this he has not been trained much this winter, which ofcourse reflects in the price.

Can you sketch the perfect owner for Kvistur?
Either a person who wants an experienced horse to learn how to ride V1/T2 or somebody who just wants to ride through the forest on a beautiful stallion in the most comfortable high-stepping tölt.
